Season 1 Show 7
Intro:
Sarah opened the show by announcing that tonight would see the semi-finals of the tournament - Angel de la Muerte facing off against lucky-loser Mollehead, whose loss to The Butcher turned into a bye when the BRE GM fired The Butcher. The other semi-final will see Elodor Bloodmane take on The Reignman.
Other match-ups will see Pedro Legend take on Wing of Chaos in a No-Holds-Barred match, and Cso Hardy face his nemesis The English Bruiser in a Hell in a Cell match!
Match 1: The Undertaker def. Shadow Tikel
A 'Diving Chokeslam' and an Arm Lock later in the match, and Shadow Tikel tapped out. A mediocre start to tonight's show, but the fans didn't seem to mind - they get Hell in a Cell tonight!
Match 2: Shawn "Big Sexy" Force def. Viskolo
In what was close to a debut victory for Viskolo, Shawn Force reversed his opponent's Backslide Pin into one of his own to pick up another victory. If Shawn Force's mic skills were on an even par with his in-ring abilities, this would be one superstar to be feared...
Match 3: Morbid Kreation def. Havoc
An uneven pairing, Morbid Kreation made light work of his opponent, getting the 3-count after a Victory Roll.
Segment 1: Liberty Rock
Crystal Jones interviews the BRE's newest superstar, Liberty Rock - who when asked about his signing with Battle Royal Entertainment stated, "I'm simply awaiting the arrival for another person here then it will all come quite clear to everyone here". Who is this other person?
Match 4: J Mysterio drew with Timmy
A debut draw for J Mysterio, holding on for the full 20 minutes despite receiving a cut near the end of the bout. This is a good base to move on from - can Mysterio forge a path to the gold?
Match 5: Willie Nemo def. Ravenzane
Despite hitting a 'Ravenator' half-way through the fight, Ravenzane succumbed to a Dragon Screw and Recliner Pin. A good contest, enjoyed by the fans.
Match 6: 0dysseu5 def. 23Freak
Another strong performance from the mythological Greek, who decimated 23Freak with an 'Ithaca Slam'. If 0dysseu5 opens up to the fed, Wing of Chaos could be onto a Homer...
Match 7: Wing of Chaos def. Pedro Legend (No-Holds-Barred)
A match of pure quality, with both men hitting finishers - however it was ultimately some interference from Squall Cloud that gave the GM another win; after landing his 'Fallen' finisher, Squall entered the ring and hit Pedro with a 'Renzokuken', after which Wing covered the battered and bruised Mexican. With the PPV only 5 days away, will Pedro Legend be in any condition to compete?
Match 8: The English Bruiser def. Cso Hardy (Hell in a Cell)
In one of Battle Royal Entertainment's best matches to date, The English Bruiser finally defeated his rival - however it took a barbed-wire bat to the face to finally down the Transylvanian Terror. The BRE's fans looked very pleased with the booking of this match!
Segment 2: Chaotic Bliss
Just seconds after winning a Hell in a Cell match, The English Bruiser was confronted by the Combatant Champion - who warned Bruiser that he will be seeking revenge for Bruiser's recent interruptions to his matches. Just what Bruiser wanted to hear...
Match 9: Angel de la Muerte def. Mollehead (Tournament semi-final)
Angel made short work of Mollehead, who has gone virtually into hiding after his two poor performances so far. Mind you, most people who get hit with Angel's 'Death Drop' end up on the wrong end of a 3-count...Angel moves into the final, and a guaranteed title shot against either Wing of Chaos or The Management Planner.
Segment 3: Angel de la Muerte
Angel had news for the fans - he is having the time of his life, wrecking all opponents that come his way. And according to him, not even the General Manager can stop him from having his way.
Match 10: Elodor Bloodmane def. The Reignman (Tournament semi-final)
Elodor moves into the final against Angel de la Muerte, after out-lasting The Reignman and even surviving a 'Reign Supreme' from his opponent.
End of the show:
Sarah congratulated Elodor Bloodmane and Angel de la Muerte on their victories - and reminded fans that there will be a new addition to the BRE roster at Saturday's PPV...Liberty Rock's surprise comrade...
